Fast, Accurate Infectious Disease Screening at Test Smartly Labs
Infectious diseases are illnesses caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites. These diseases can spread from person to person, from animals or insects to people, or even through contaminated food or water. Without proper diagnosis and treatment, infectious diseases can lead to serious health complications. Early detection is essential for effective treatment and to prevent transmission to others.
At Test Smartly Labs Kansas City, we offer comprehensive infectious disease lab testing to help identify and diagnose infections quickly, safely, and affordably.
Why Infectious Disease Testing is Important
Many infectious diseases are highly contagious and can spread rapidly through families, communities, and workplaces. Timely lab testing allows healthcare providers to:
-
Confirm or rule out infections
-
Start appropriate treatment early
-
Prevent further transmission
-
Monitor response to treatment
In some cases, infectious disease testing may also be required for pre-employment screening, travel requirements, or healthcare-related clearances.

Do You Need A List Of My Medications For A Drug Test?
Per protocol, the lab techs are not allowed to receive or ask for your medications.
