Are you experiencing persistent allergy symptoms year-round—regardless of the season? You might be dealing with a mold allergy, one of the most common and overlooked causes of chronic respiratory discomfort. Unlike seasonal allergies tied to pollen or agricultural cycles, mold is present indoors and outdoors all year long, making it a constant and often invisible threat.
At Test Smartly Labs, we offer accurate and comprehensive mold allergy testing to help you identify which mold types are causing your symptoms, so you can take control of your health.
Why Mold Allergies Are a Constant Risk
Mold spores are microscopic and airborne, meaning you can inhale them without even knowing it. According to the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America:
“Outdoor molds may cause allergy symptoms in summer and fall (or year-round in some climates). Indoor molds may cause allergy symptoms year-round.”
From damp basements and bathrooms to decomposing leaves outdoors, mold exists everywhere, and continued exposure can lead to respiratory distress, skin irritation, or even asthma complications.
How We Test for Mold Allergies
At Test Smartly Labs, we use blood-based testing to identify mold-specific IgE antibodies in your system. This non-invasive test requires only a simple blood draw, which is then analyzed in a certified lab to determine which mold strains are causing an allergic response.
Our testing can detect sensitivities to:
-
Outdoor molds from decomposing leaves and plant matter
-
Indoor molds such as mildew in bathrooms and kitchens
-
Fungal spores that grow on walls, carpets, HVAC units, and in basements
Whether your exposure is environmental, seasonal, or related to household moisture, we’ll help you understand what you’re reacting to and how to reduce your exposure.

-
Persistent sneezing or nasal congestion
-
Coughing or wheezing indoors
-
Unexplained rashes or skin irritation
-
Fatigue or brain fog
-
Frequent sinus infections or asthma flare-ups
Mold allergies can aggravate respiratory conditions, contribute to chronic inflammation, and decrease your quality of life. The sooner you test, the sooner you can take steps to protect your environment and your health.
