Discover What’s Causing Your Symptoms with Accurate Genetic Testing
Do you feel unwell after eating certain foods or spending time around animals, but aren’t sure why? If you’ve hesitated to change your diet or lifestyle without knowing for sure what’s causing your symptoms, a food or pet sensitivity test could provide the answers you need.
At Test Smartly Labs, we offer scientifically backed sensitivity testing to help you identify your triggers and start living healthier and more comfortably.

What Is Food & Pet Sensitivity Testing?
Sensitivity testing can help determine whether your body is reacting negatively to certain foods, proteins, or environmental elements—such as pet dander. Unlike food allergies, sensitivities tend to have delayed symptoms that are often overlooked or misattributed.
How Do the Tests Work?
We offer two standard testing methods:
1. Blood Sample – IgE Immunoglobulin Testing
This test measures your IgE antibody levels in response to specific substances. Elevated IgE levels may indicate that your immune system is overreacting to substances that are usually harmless—causing symptoms like inflammation, discomfort, and fatigue.
2. Skin Prick Test
In this test, a small amount of suspected allergens is introduced just under the skin’s surface. If you’re sensitive to a substance, a visible reaction will typically appear at the injection site.
What Can the Test Detect?
Our Food & Pet Sensitivity Profile can help identify reactions to:
-
Lactose
-
Cow milk proteins
-
Peanuts and tree nuts
-
Eggs
-
Gluten and wheat
-
Pet dander (cats, dogs, etc.)
-
Pollen and environmental irritants
-
And many more…
By understanding what your body is sensitive to, you can avoid unnecessary discomfort and make targeted lifestyle changes—instead of guessing.

What’s The Turnaround Time For Lab Work?
Average turnaround time is 2-5 business days depending on the complexity of the lab work. Most tests are available in 2-3 days.
Do You Need A List Of My Medications For A Drug Test?
Per protocol, the lab techs are not allowed to receive or ask for your medications. A medical review officer or MRO, a licensed physician who specializes in toxicology, will call you and ask for your medications and your physician’s phone number if it’s detected in your sample during testing. The MRO will then call your physician to verify your medications.
