Infectious Disease Testing
Infectious diseases are illnesses that can be passed either from person to person or from an animal or bug to a person. You can also eat food or drink water and contract an infectious disease. Infectious diseases are living organisms that can cause serious health problems if not treated.
There are vaccines that can protect you from getting them, and several treatments to help those who’ve already come down with one.
Some of the most common infectious diseases are:
- Chickenpox or measles
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C
- West Nile Virus (WNV)
- E. coli
